Should Hale Village Have A Parish Plan?

During a Hale Parish Council meeting of February 15th, it was suggested by several members of the public, that a Parish Plan or a vision should be adopted for the village. Hale, has no Parish Plan, but most other villages in the Shires and Counties of England have, since 2000 when the Government introduced them..

A Parish Plan is a statement of how a community sees itself and it's future. Parish Plans, reflect the views of all sections of the community, identify local problems and protect heritage values.. As other areas,, since 2000, have adopted Parish Plans is it not time Hale also had such a plan!?

We have set up an online poll to gauge opinion, if Hale Village should, or should not have a Parish Plan

We have also included a general Google search link, for you to view other Parish Plans around the country..

Here on the new "Hidden Heritage" page, we will highlight village

heritage that is,, basically,, hidden.

Yet, this hidden heritage, is right in front of our eyes, on a daily

basis. This new page will be one to look out for in the next few

months as it is constructed.

Hidden Heritage From:

St Mary's, Cocklaid Lane, Hale Park, War Memorial, Hale Shore, Hale FC and more..
