An Opportunity To Meet With Liverpool John Lennon Airport Representatives During September At Hale Village Hall
August 15, 2018
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is to hold an open session at the Village Hall between 5-8pm on Wednesday 19thSeptember 2018 to give local residents the opportunity to meet with Airport representatives to ask questions about the day to day operation of the Airport.
This follows on from the consultation event held in the Village last year specifically looking at the Airport’s Master Plan proposals and which have subsequently been published earlier this year.
At this event the Airport made a commitment going forward to meet and discuss a range of issues with local residents regarding operations at the Airport and it is their intention to make this a regular event in order to improve communication and engagement with the local community.
This Airport would like to make it clear that this is not a further Master Plan consultation, but an opportunity for residents to discuss a variety of Airport issues of their choice.
Also attending will be representatives from Peel Energy who will be on hand to explain plans for a Solar power scheme on Airport land, which could help to generate approximately 20% of the Airport’s future power needs.
