Wellington Bowling Club Members Championship Competition.

An enjoyable Monday evening was had by members of the Wellington Bowling Club, during their members annual Championship Play Off Competition.
The competition started at 6pm - with members names being drawn to play each other in individual matches, which started with Quarter Finals, followed by a Semi Final/s and then the Final.
The green was in excellent condition with the floodlights providing an atmospheric setting, as daylight faded just before 7pm.
The competition finished just after 8pm, with John Lamb and Roy Youds battling it out in the Final match. With John Lamb being the victor.
After the competition, members gathered in the Wellington Restaurant for a meal and presentations.
This included, special bowls towels being given to members, along with John being presented with the winners trophy.
Following the presentations, everyone was served with Curry, Rice and Chips.
