
Sun Shines For St Mary's Church Spring Fair
The Spring like - sunny weather on Saturday 23rd of April - was a lovely setting for St Mary's Church Spring Fair, here in Hale Village, with the sun shining and the tree's next to the Church in full blossom, it was the perfect day, Inside the Church, the sunshine was streaming in through the large windows illuminating the building... Tables and stalls were laid out with home made gifts and crafts, from cards, toys and jewellery. Volunteers served refreshments to visitors -

Halton Borough Council Warns Of Bogus Callers
Halton Borough Council has put out a warning after a couple of workmen wearing ID badges knocked on the door of an elderly Runcorn resident who lives alone.
They asked to check her electric cupboard and smoke alarms.
The lady’s landlord has confirmed that no visitors or inspections had been arranged.
The callers were both in their 40s and arrived in a white van.
Avoid being caught out by other doorstep rogues by refusing to deal with people who cold-call you.

St Mary's Church is now open every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm serving Tea, Coffee, Juices and home made cakes and scones, for visitors to the village. If you are visiting the village and passing the church you are invited to drop in for a brew and a browse. Man Trapped Under Gate In Hale Is Rescued
Cheshire Fire & Rescue attended to an incident in Hale Village, on Tuesday 5th April around lunchtime... A man was trapped by his leg under a heavy gate, in Langford Close on the Pheasant Field housing estate. Firefighters were called to the incident and used specialist cutting gear to release the casualty. Resurfacing The Roads Around Hale Village

Village Coffee Shop Now At The Youth Centre
The Coffee Shop that operates from the Village Hall, will re-open this Friday - 8th April from the Youth Centre at the northern end of the High Street.
Opening times still remain the same:
Sunday, Tuesday and Fridays 10:30am to 12 noon. The move to the Youth Centre is due to the Village Hall being knocked down and rebuilt during 2016. #villagehallcoffeeshop
