Hale Park, has once again been awarded the Green Flag status. The Green Flag Award® scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces. The Park is maintained and managed by the Open Spaces Parks & Gardens Team, at Halton Borough Council. A hosepipe ban is to be put in place in England for the first time since 2012. United Utilities will enforce a hosepipe ban in the North West of England affecting around 7 million people. The water company will introduce a Temporary Use Ban from Sunday 5th of August in areas including parts of Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.
