Mal Sutton is once again coordinating this yearly event. A full day of golf between 2 teams, at Runcorn Golf Club, including Lunch - Evening Meal. The event takes place at Runcorn Golf Club on Clifton Road at a cost of £30 per-head, on 29th September. The event is in memory of the late Peter Hatton (Freeman of Hale), village historian and author of the book "The History Of Hale". There will be a meeting for the Village Hall Committee this Wednesday 23rd August - at 7:30pm, upstairs in the Childe Of Hale Pub. Members of the user-groups who have used the old hall in the past and will be using the new hall, are welcome to attend.
