Green Flag Award 9 Years On The Run For Hale Park
Hale Park, has once again been awarded the Green Flag status. The Green Flag Award® scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces. The Park is maintained and managed by the Open Spaces Parks & Gardens Team, at Halton Borough Council. The park was refurbished/renovated in late 2008 - early 2009 due to a successful "Big Lottery" Bid, application, via HBC and The Friends of Hale Park,,, and has since held the Green Flag Award, year on year! Police Search Hale Park For Firearms
SPECIALIST search trained officers are carrying out open land searches in Hale Park today, Merseyside Police has confirmed. Local Policing Officers have been joined by Matrix officers in this latest crackdown on firearms. New Bollards For Hale Park
Work has now been completed, installing new heavy duty steel bollards in Hale Park. During February, Halton Borough Council have replaced the old wooden bollards around the car park area - which were broken and damaged, with the new steel bollards - and included a strip of tarmac where the bollards are - around the perimeter of the parking area. #halepark

Hale Park Lease Surrendered
Hale Parish Council are in the final stages of surrendering the lease for Hale Park, to Halton Borough Council. Due to cutbacks at HBC, the Open Space Services communicated that they must enforce the lease tearms, that Hale Parish Council should now pay for maintaining the park, which annually would be £16000.
